Of course I sympathize with laziness, but you can't really expect me to go around looking like this. People will confuse me for my future—for my alleged future self. You know, that possessed fellow who somehow misplaced my cat, my earring, and my sense of self-preservation in the span of a single year.

I don't care if you like him. I don't like him at all. Hardly anyone else seems to, either, and now they'll all blame me for what he did. I seem to recall someone else judging me for doing horrible things without ever allowing me the pleasure of actually doing them… Oh, yes. Templars. Also: everyone else. Pretty much the entirety of Thedas.

And we've seen how that ends. Allegedly. So let's avoid adding unnecessarily to my burdens, yes?

You should have icons of your present self, I'd like to be privy to the visual difference between you and the potential future you that leaves masses of paper all over my house.

Precisely my point! First impressions matter. People should look at me and think roguishly charming—nose a little long, maybe, still sorting out a good hairstyle, but promising. Maybe a bit of trouble, but not too much. Probably good company. Probably worth saving from hanging. Probably not going to turn into a half-mad martyr and make you regret everything you've ever done for him. Otherwise I'd be, on average, much more dead.

If there's one thing I know about these mundanes, it's that they'll happily add to our burdens if it eases their own.

I rather miss the earring, I have to admit. But at least she hasn't chosen to photoshop kittens into every one of your icons.

I have to agree with Hawke. Kittens would be an improvement.

We will have to do something about the earring, though. I think even the mundane agrees with that. If we carry on about it long enough she may even make some more appropriate icons.

Not that I'm suggesting that we should not carry on. We definitely should.
