[ Sorry, Sylar, a little distracted by how ridiculously similar that look is to his first officer's. Holy shit. Okay, no, so; Jim thinks hot sex and peeling faces off, wildly hoping the former is true. ]

Uh. Never mind, imagination's helping out.

[ Very similar, but some things just won't ever transmit over cleanly, and one of those things is Sylar sliding one hand free, so that he might drag just the tip of his finger along Kirk's nose, stopping right at the bottom. ]

[ Fighting not to wrinkle his nose and keep the straight line of his lips intact, he fails magnificently by nipping the end of that finger before it can retreat over the damp warmth of a lip. Honestly, if people start putting things near Jim's mouth then events can only go a set number of ways. ]

It shows you don't know me by assuming that it won't be enough. How do you plan on finding me again? I could be a whole temporal anomaly away, tucked right into a quantum fissure.

I never said that. [ It's beyond true that Jim would always rather have someone to touch than not, even flawed with cracks and fissures he can crawl inside and explore; it's in his nature, much as it seems to be in Sylar's. To want to know, whatever the terrain (or cut of a jaw or clever-quick eyes or smug bastard).

Ninety percent of Jim is just the want, most of the time, but still. ]

[ True, he never said that, but Sylar breezes over the misunderstanding as though it ever happened at all. His eyes flicker back and forth over Kirk's face. It's clear he's enjoyed every second, and now it's just a case of counting the days until they come across each other again.

In his canon it's an inevitability, after all.

He licked his lips, made sure Kirk could see. ]
