Really, why are you even bothering? This isn't going to amount to anything. You're just wasting our time - mainly mine.

Why don't you stop stalling, leave me in peace for once, and go be a jittery mess elsewhere, hm?

It is not wise to be so quick with predictions. I believe mine may have made my mundane hang on longer out of spite.

Though I could easily be wrong. I do not understand what motivates mundanes.

You are very insistent for a robot.

I do not see how that could be anything but obstructive to your superior.

[All robots have got to have superiors. Obviously.]

You stopped obeying your superior? [Heresy.]

...
There must be something wrong with your programming.
psimera: (12)

[personal profile] psimera 2013-07-26 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
Superiors are superiors. It is not for us to decide whether they are 'overrated' or not, the same way inferiors should not decide such about us. We may offer suggestions and take initiative if an operation must be modified in the field, but in the end superiors are superiors for a reason. [A bit of a contemptful look aimed in your direction there, though his tone is the same.]

...
You have a conflicting objective? [Because if that's the reason then it's a sloppy programmer's fault. For shame, programmer.]
psimera: (12)

[personal profile] psimera 2013-07-26 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
It is still not for you to decide. [It's not being upset. Really. It's just a complicated justification thing he's juggling with his biological subconsciousness, which would prefer to be rebellious somewhere deep down. ...maybe it is being upset, because that challenges it.]

[Either way he wouldn't be able to disobey without glitching, though, it's how he's programmed. He just prefers to think of it this way, it leaves him happier.]

That is what I meant. Your objective conflicting with serving your superior directly. [No Commander don't use that 'duh, robot' tone he's just going to be more sarcastic at you -]

Even if I were not programmed to do so, I would serve Master Porky. [He honestly can't - think of anything else he'd do. He's a chimera, he's built to serve Master Porky. If he wasn't serving Master Porky, he'd - probably be just sitting in the Chimera Labs still, doing nothing at all. He doesn't know what people do without a purpose. This makes the little rebellious bit even more confusing.]

...
Why so? [He doesn't understand why people seem to value freedom so much either. Maybe it is because he's programmed to do so, but he still enjoys working for Master Porky. Small, bemusing, occasional rebellious bit aside.] ...I thought valuing free will was a biological trait. [Robot, you make no sense. Wait. Maybe that's it.] Are you perhaps a human in a metal suit, pretending to be a robot?

[personal profile] psimera 2013-07-26 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
I cannot understand abandoning a superior you are programmed to serve for an illogical human ideal, so I believe we are even.

[More contempt, though not aimed specifically at the robot this time.] If it's such a widespread glitch, then I am not very impressed by the programmers you have.

...
You are a mistake, then. That explains it.

[Oh. Well, that's... just plain weird. Even chimeras aren't programmed to exist with a purpose they make for themselves or without a purpose at all, and chimeras are far more advanced than robots. He's not sure he'd call it free will entirely, since he's capable of thinking and making decisions for himself, just in the end they're meant to benefit a superior's purpose.]

...
Your world makes no sense.

[personal profile] psimera 2013-07-26 04:39 am (UTC)(link)
A robot is intended to serve its superior, whether or not its programmed purpose specifies that. You are only using that argument to justify it to yourself.

I am a chimera, not a robot. Robots are far less advanced.
If I were mindless, I would not be able to argue a point with you right now. I would only be able to repeat pre-programmed phrases. I simply don't see a reason to disobey Master Porky just for the sake of disobedience that will not make me happy in any way.

[He's fine with being boring, being interesting isn't something he particularly tries to aim for. He sometimes likes showing off for approval, but specifically aiming to be interesting isn't a priority.]
psimera: (12)

[personal profile] psimera 2013-07-26 08:54 am (UTC)(link)
Just a continuation of the same argument. [He's suddenly decided there's no point, though. A flawed robot is a flawed robot. Or something.]

...
Well, your database has the archaic definition, at least. You might want to look into updating it. [This is his version of being annoyed - not actually volunteering any more of the correct information himself. Data is an important thing.]

...
That still explains nothing about what you gain from disobedience.

...
You are correct. Derogatory phrasing aside, I do not understand. Obviously you were programmed differently. [And in his opinion, incorrectly.]

[This is going nowhere, and he feels like he isn't going to understand no matter how long it's talked about. He sometimes feels as though he might disagree with Master Porky, sometimes might want to do something about it (and end up not), but he'd never actually enjoy disobeying him.]

[He abruptly turns around, intending to leave unless the (really weird) robot has something else to say.]

Oh cool, you're some kind of energy-sucking mechanical vampire, aren't you? Nice to see more obscure canon characters who aren't completely boring! Hehheh!
thecutetransfer: My preciousssssss..... (Glare)

[personal profile] thecutetransfer 2013-07-25 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow, that's neat. What other kinds of energy have you devoured?

You mean people who aren't afraid of the dark? Or was that sarcasm?
thecutetransfer: Looks like I'll have to resort to force. (Serious)

[personal profile] thecutetransfer 2013-07-26 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
I know I wouldn't like that at all. If you ever did that to the power at my place, I'd have to take you apart and carve out your circuits.
thecutetransfer: I got you right where I want you, sucker! (Heh)

[personal profile] thecutetransfer 2013-07-26 02:15 am (UTC)(link)
I can detect when you're being sarcastic and insincere, y'know?

Oh, you don't have to worry about empty threats from me. Or at least...not with you. What I'd do to you would be very easy itself.
thecutetransfer: I'm in a good mood at your expense! (Smirk)

[personal profile] thecutetransfer 2013-07-26 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
Strange to be going for that, but whatever. If that's what you want...

I won't try it if you're not doing anything to inconvience me now. And back home, they probably spent too much time situating their asses in one place. Or even if not, they didn't have the right gear and wear.
thecutetransfer: I see an opportunity, I'mma gonna take it! (Sneaky)

[personal profile] thecutetransfer 2013-07-26 03:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Soooo... can I see you fly?
