a hopeful canon bump at [community profile] amatomnes

So let me get this straight-- you want me to go to a sex island? Where this Belle was? Like people aren't already confusing me for her. I don't need to constantly be in this girl's shadow. I don't need you to confuse that fact.

You say 'Gold's there' like that's some incentive. I like the guy and all, but you go on about potential like there's something there. I barely know him.

--Granted, a sex island is one hell of an excuse to get to know someone. Plus I've been told there's some pretty good bars. I can get behind that.

[Guarded. Very guarded.]

I beg your pardon?
cantwalkwithoutit: (of course)

[He's using what he knows. He knows Belle will wind up over the line. Is this what she becomes? He's not certain. She talks of Belle like she's another person, and he chooses to be aloof, here, because that's his girlfriend she's talking about with disdain, mkay.]

I actually don't believe we've formally been introduced yet. You appear to know my name already. Can I trouble you for yours?

[That makes sense. He thinks a moment before speaking carefully.]

Your mundane has told you some about the island already. What she probably hasn't mentioned is that when people are stolen away, they're not always taken at the same time. It probably doesn't make much sense, but that's the way of it. You're somewhat ahead of me.

But by all means, do tell me who I'll be kicking later so I can look forward to it.

cantwalkwithoutit: (that's fascinating and I don't care)

Not for lack of wanting to, I assure you.

[He doesn't recognize the name but considers it an advantage that his apparent dislike for the man caught her attention. After, she said, she ran out on a date they were having. He's not certain how to take that just yet.]

Has your mundane warned you of anything else?
