...Hm.
[Don't mind him, he's just trying to make sense of this whole digital world thing.]
If our purpose there is to stop an opposing force, would it not be more effective to retain our current forms?
[If they're really gonna be part of that whole Saving the World™ party, he'd rather not get tied up dealing with a species change. The guy's only been on Earth for like a month, he wouldn't know the first thing about How to Human.]

Not that I don't welcome a familiar face but...let's just say 'convenience' ain't this world's strong suit. We're not allowed to fight these things ourselves and--
[He cuts off at that. No way is he telling Magnus his partner's a fluffy pink sheep.]

I've tried to understand why such a thing occurs, and none of my studies have proved fruitful, unfortunately.

[Not that he wouldn't mind a little explanation as to why it was set in place.]
[But still. Protocol is protocol.]

Your mun has poor choices in those they form acquaintances with, Autobot.

[Of course, Leatherhead wouldn't be as popular if they saw him as the monster he is.]
Being human is not so great.

You'd think Perry would be used to this, but to be fair he's only met the other bots in there current squishy, human form. He sighs, adjusting his hat. You'd think form wouldn't matter, given the wide array of digimon forms...but here we are.]

[That awkward silence they're now currently engaged in is normal. A few blinks and puzzled seconds later, he quirks a browplate up.]
Are you facing a similar problem?
no subject
So he nods. Yeah, you could say he is facing a similar problem of going from his usual form to that of a human. But at least he's used to being small and squishy. And this still isn't as bad as the time he was a teenage girl.]

One should question the motives of this mission if the decision was made purposely.

That depends on the nature of the world you'd be involved in, and the nature of the force. Sometimes blending in is more necessary than it seems on the surface; that's why we took the forms of normal Earth vehicles upon arrival.

I do not believe the change is made for the purpose of stealth. Alt modes could have functioned in that regard.
