On potentially joining the robot family at [community profile] themainframe

...Hm.

[Don't mind him, he's just trying to make sense of this whole digital world thing.]

If our purpose there is to stop an opposing force, would it not be more effective to retain our current forms?

[If they're really gonna be part of that whole Saving the World™ party, he'd rather not get tied up dealing with a species change. The guy's only been on Earth for like a month, he wouldn't know the first thing about How to Human.]

...okay, who called the fun police?

Right right. I know. sir.

Not that I don't welcome a familiar face but...let's just say 'convenience' ain't this world's strong suit. We're not allowed to fight these things ourselves and--

[He cuts off at that. No way is he telling Magnus his partner's a fluffy pink sheep.]

sciencetank: (Whose sticky note is this?)

[personal profile] sciencetank 2013-07-16 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
One would think so, yes. Cybertronian frames are vastly superior to organic ones, and yet, that rarely stops any of them from performing the incredibly frustrating process of converting our forms from our usual ones to organic.

I've tried to understand why such a thing occurs, and none of my studies have proved fruitful, unfortunately.

Mm, if your tone were to be believed, it'd be a simple process.

[The predacon's lurking led him here and boy is he not happy to see you, Magnus.]

Your mun has poor choices in those they form acquaintances with, Autobot.
bigdaddydragon: (Give me your face)

[personal profile] bigdaddydragon 2013-07-16 09:26 pm (UTC)(link)
You Autobots seem rather keen on involving yourselves in matters that don't concern you; I assumed it was alright for the rest of us to do the same.

[You damn murderer.]

[personal profile] bigsoftie 2013-07-16 08:33 pm (UTC)(link)
That is my thought.

[Of course, Leatherhead wouldn't be as popular if they saw him as the monster he is.]

Being human is not so great.

[It's ok dude, a lot of people are curious as to what he is.]

It is warm and soft...too soft. And they need to eat all the time.

You'd think that, but it'd make too much sense.

...sir.

[No, but please come. She can only play leader for so long.]
robotfightclub: (Cut that shit out)

You're not gonna like it, let's leave it at that. Not like you'll remember what I tell you anyway.

[Games are mean like that.]

[personal profile] perrytheperson 2013-07-16 11:04 pm (UTC)(link)
[Oh...hello large robot...person. Perry tilts his head back to look up at you. He's used to being smaller than people, but never by quite this much.

You'd think Perry would be used to this, but to be fair he's only met the other bots in there current squishy, human form. He sighs, adjusting his hat. You'd think form wouldn't matter, given the wide array of digimon forms...but here we are.

[personal profile] perrytheperson 2013-07-17 04:02 am (UTC)(link)
[Perry isn't sure he should say. He certainly hadn't told anyone in the Digital World. But, this is a "special" place where such secrets aren't really important since this is kind of just...behind the scenes if you will.

So he nods. Yeah, you could say he is facing a similar problem of going from his usual form to that of a human. But at least he's used to being small and squishy. And this still isn't as bad as the time he was a teenage girl.

[Bro, he's been on Earth a lot longer than you have, and he couldn't tell you the first thing about How to Human either. But apparently he can teach Raf How to Cybertronian. Go figure.]

That depends on the nature of the world you'd be involved in, and the nature of the force. Sometimes blending in is more necessary than it seems on the surface; that's why we took the forms of normal Earth vehicles upon arrival.
