Muse isn't happy at the long absence of the Mun

[The incubus is currently sitting in a chair -- albeit, upside down -- with a slightly irate look on his face. It has been boring as all fucking hell without anyone to talk to, even his Mun, and that's put him in a bit of a sour mood.]

You could've at least, y'know, left a fuckin' note before disappearing for almost three months. The others aren't happy with you either, except I think Shadow-Boy has calmed down in your absence. You might want to think of working things out with him, by-the-by, he's been a bit... out of it. Hell, the only one you've kept in full contact is Nick, and you let him go elsewhere. He even found someone else to be with too!

[Please don't mention that to him, he won't take kindly to it, Rosier.]

I'll poke fun at him if I want to. But that brings up my second inquiry. When are we gonna get a chance to leave for a bit, huh? Mind-space is not the most comfortable thing ever, you know. Gets cramped. Dusty as fuck too, you really need to clean the place out. So when are the rest of us gonna be let free to roam?

[I let you go, Ros, and you'll leave a city in flames behind you.]

[Oh. Oh hi, how long have you been standing there, listening to him rant? Because now Ros is a bit flustered once he notices the other, twisting in the chair to sit upright in it. The flustered surprise quickly morphs itself into a grin, however, before the incubus waves a hand the other's way.]

[ Really, quite a long time. You know, feel free to continue. Peter's eyebrow flicks up at that flustered greeting with an amused smirk on his face.]

[The incubus gives a small shrug at that and huffs, still moderately irate with his Mun but not really enough to continue ranting with others around.]

I basically got my point across to her. Whether she listens to me -- like I know she won't -- is pretty much a matter of me getting a miracle. [Pause] So what have you been up to?

It depends on your definition of 'trouble'. Chewing my Mun out doesn't seem like trouble to me, I've just been so goddamn bored without anyone to talk to.

[Ros chuckles a bit, kicking his feet slightly on the head part of the chair he's resting the wrong way in.]

So how have you been, hmm? Keeping yourself in good health, I hope?

I haven't died again yet! [ Cheerful grin. ] How about you? Still fighting Alex on the whole Transylvanian accent thing?

Well, yes, I do suppose that's good. [He grins back, pointed teeth and all.] Should have you know that she made the oddest noise at that. I have a feeling she totally forgot about that. So no, she hasn't. But it is extremely amusing to watch her make faces of confusion on how you remembered that conversation.

One of my past lives is bubbling up and his memory is slightly better than mine. [ Yellow eyes flash in amusement. ] So, what've you been up to?

Memory is a fickle thing. [He waves a hand before letting it flop back onto his stomach.] Nothing, really. During her last few days of school, I got some time out in the sun and then I was locked away like some Disney princess until she remembered that I'm here along with the others. Not much fun, to be completely honest.

[ He looks down sheepishly. ] Yeah, I get that. I'm always a bit bored, but lately it's been ridiculous. It's like, "Hey, I need you, get out here" when they need us.

Muns and their thought processes. "They aren't people, why should I pay attention to them all hours of the day?" Because I'll wreck your train of thought when you least expect it, you little brat. [He deftly bats away a pillow that's thrown at his face, rolling his eyes.] Only think of us as play-things to use on a whim, it's horrible.

[Ros opens his mouth to say something, decides better of it, and shuts his mouth again.] I have a feeling it's better not to ask about that...

I don't remember it, so it doesn't matter much, right?

I... suppose not if you don't remember it. [He moves a hand to lightly scratch at his nose, gazing at the other with a slightly concerned look that could be seen even upside down.] I'm sort of glad my Mun doesn't have any time to put me through things like that.

I'm fine. I'm... Leo does it all the time, so I'm fine. Don't make that face.

[One could easily tell that Ros wants to say something, but after a moment he drops the subject.] No harm, no foul I guess. So other than that, what have you been up to? Nothing too destructive, yea?

[brand_of_disgrace]

Nothing destructive or productive or remotely interesting. [ Long, bored sigh. ] How about you? Sending blood rushing to everyone's heads when they try to make eye contact with you? [ He's tilting his head at an extreme angle. ]

[Alright, he has to chuckle at that, rolling and twisting a bit in the chair to right himself.] Not as many people as you'd think; guess I just don't catch the eyes of others here like I usually do elsewhere.

Not much to work with when things aren't canon. [He makes a slight pouty face and huffs before he builds a mental bridge and gets over it, waving his hand around in a dismissive manner with the beginning of a grin appearing on his face.] Ah well; it's their loss in the end, right?

Is it? Because in the end, it's us who are stuck with nothing to do and nowhere to go outside of our own canon. I'd kill for a decent game.

[A pause because 'ah hell, he had a point'.] I'd rather be kept out of them honestly, especially the ones I know my Mun would be eyeing. She's too busy to do any of that to me anyways, but that's partially the reason she keeps shuffling us aside in her mindspace.

My more sane counterpart's been running around. A bunch of my canonmates popped up on Dear_Mun... Leo, Miseratti, Ananta, Isidor, Cain, Cedric, my old self. It's a little jarring and I keep getting distracted, but it also makes me wonder if it gives us a better shot at a game...

[He gives the other a look for a moment, quirking a brow up.] That's quite the menagerie of people you have.

[He snorts a bit at the mention of his Mun.] High school is done and over with. But, if it isn't noticeable by the silence I took for the past eight weeks -- [He shoots a look at his Mun, who glares and sticks her tongue out in response] -- she's been a tad bit busy with all the overwhelming college things. And real life has been getting in the way a tad bit, but it's mostly college distracting her.
