Oh, I've heard of the Kaiju. A couple of 'em kind of crashed my prom. Never heard of Jaegers though.

[Yeah, not going to mention how he survived the Twins' attack, or his heritage. Especially since his dad could very well have been Godzilla...]

The Jaegers were created to... protect humanity from the terror of the Kaijus. They are quite hard to miss. They're very large and quite loud.

Nearly everyone's got one that they root for. [she remembers the many nicknames people have given them.] You know? "Giant robots?"

Okay, I gotta admit, giant robots do sound a lot cooler than the tanks the UN's Kaiju taskforce uses.

So just uh... to make sure we're from... the same world... ever hear of Belloc?

Yeah, that clears up a lot. Everyone from my world knows of Belloc, even if it's just the old legends.

He's the biggest, baddest, oldest, and strongest Kaiju in my world. He's... also my dad.

Kaiju are sentient creatures after all. They're not mindless beasts or anything. ...For the most part. Hell, Belloc has been keeping the Kaiju from just hunting humans to extinction for centuries.

But no, I'm not some science lab experiment, or have some parasitic Kaiju latched onto my brain or something. My dad is a dragon.
