I find myself perplexed by your fascination with an embittered old woman. You would find it a much easier and happier task to work with me when I was young and still had hope of love. My discussion with Lord Finrod has left me some measure of understanding, yet I fear my heart will always wonder and grieve for what could not be.

Pray, leave an old woman to her devices. Turn your attention to those with youth still left in them, with hearts open to change.

Mayhap your admirer prefers experience and wisdom to youth. She would not be alone in that, certainly.

Most now know me as Galadriel, but if they spoke of me at all, I am sure it was as Artanis.
