Hey - don't be so upset. It's not like I'd ever really do something like that.
[ ... ]
Sure, if I died it would probably clear up some issues for some people. But all I have to do is think of their faces - my mom, or Stiles, or Allison, or Lydia, and I remember why I'm here. Can't protect them if I'm gone, right?
Now that I have Stiles' actual reaction imprinted in my head, I don't think I can deal with seeing it again. Or anyone else's for that matter.
So cheer up. I'm not going anywhere, anytime soon.

Even though my mun has to wait until tomorrow morning to watch everything, I have to speak up and say no shit, Sherlock! Did you really...I mean honestly...could you...
Look at me. Look at me right now, okay? You just shut your wolfy snout about that and buy me an ice cream.

[ he just manages a smile - what else is he supposed to do? or say? ]
And - it probably goes without saying, but thanks, man. I owe you one.
no subject
[He smiles back too. Damn it Scott stop scaring him like...every week.]
no subject
... And this probably goes without saying too, but my mun is making me. You're my brother, Stiles. An arm and a leg is nothing to what I'd do for you.
[ AWWW SENTIMENTAL CRAP. ]

[ AH JEEZ SENTIMENTAL CRAP so many feels ;_; ]
I know, dude. Come on, after all we've been through? I can't picture my life without you in it. So you better get your grades up, we have to go to college together.
no subject
Hey - I'm working on it! I'm definitely going to graduate on time, no questions asked. [ here's another grin, less soft, more goofy. ] Then it's dorm life for you and me.
no subject
You'd have a hell of a lot of people who'd miss you, dude.

[ It's not a lie. Best friend, thanks so much. ]
No homo.
no subject
Not even a little homo?
no subject
Okay - a little homo. Just a bit, though.

I wouldn't be opposed to making out a little. [He's 97% kidding. Just so we're clear.]

The near death experience didn't suddenly give me an urge to jump your bones. I'm so sorry. [ That's because the urge was always there oh, master of joke, Scott. ] You are a little bit more attractive to me, though. Have fun with that.

Seriously? That's like, the epitome of epic romance right there. The lovers suicide thing.
[There's a bit more sobriety in the way Stiles worries at his lower lip, gaze lowering for a second before he meets Scott's again.] Kinda glad we didn't seal the deal that way, though. [Really glad.]

[ Scott offers an understanding nod - trying with what he can of a reassuring smile. Before slapping Stiles' shoulder. ]
Nah, when we go out it's going to be way bigger. Not because of some dumbass, heebie jeebie motel. [ That's about the closest to sentimentality unless you want to have a crying puppy on your hands. ]

Y'know, once upon a time I had these grand delusions of maybe living to age seventy. [Do they really have to go out guns blazing, Scott?] Like, you and I sitting on the front porch of a nursing home shaking our canes at cute nurses.
no subject
Cute nurses don't sound so bad. [ As long as Allison is his nurse, that is. ] I think I could manage seventy. Would be a pathetic excuse for a werewolf, of course, but nurses are tempting.

[Just thinking about 'later in life' is good right now, honestly. Since for a couple of minutes, Scott didn't even want to see a future for himself.]

Are you trying to flatter me so we can really make out?
no subject
[ He can't blame you though, everyone kind of wants to make out with him (including Lydia, oh burn). ]

I think it's just the shock talking. You should get me a blanket.
no subject
... I don't think you're in shock. [ Not in on the Joke, an autobiography written by Scott McCall. ] I think you'd be, uh, more shocked.
