Why? I- I am the Abhorsen, and Kerrigor may be bound, but his Dead and living are still loose. Even if I may return to the Kingdom and remain there, I will lose a fortnight waiting for my powers to return.

You told me I might find allies, and then told me that some of those who come may be Dead, or deal in Free Magic- the Old Kingdom has enough problems, without bringing more in from other worlds.

You're right. I only hope this window does not bring something worse than Kerrigor loose. [Her mun's been telling her about some of the other worlds people come from. Sabriel is not happy.]
