[At least that's what he says, but his eyes betray that he's not so sure anymore.]

That's not my main concern at this point-- [A beat as Kadaj scrambles for something to reassert his authority with.] I heard her voice, brother.

Fine by me. [And really, it's only because he knows that he's not the one that Loz will come crying to.]

[Smirking again, Kadaj purses his lips in thought.]

[Somehow, Kadaj manages a smile so sweet that it could almost past for innocent. The only thing worse than losing your direction is living in the denial of what that "direction" really was, after all.]
