As much as I appreciate the thought [the words are, of course, dripping with sarcasm] I have my own war to fight. The state of the Ground isn't getting any better - and chances are high they'll get worse if no one is there to stop it.
I'm not arrogant enough to think I'm indispensable [yes you kind of are] but I like to think I've become a valuable asset. I've even started enjoying working on the dead, instead of the living. [But there's an edge of bitterness to the words.]
I wish this Iniative the best, but I'm sure they can manage without me.
