[ Annabeth falls quiet for a moment, looking off somewhere over his shoulder. ] I'm nervous, Percy.

Me too, but we'll get out of it. I just know it.

You mean being separated from our friends and family isn't enough? ... Okay, dumb question.

Okay, I can try to do that. [ It will take some effort on her part to shift gears, but she doesn't want to be a cloud of gloom now that they have a moment. ] What will we do when we get out?
