And just when I thought you'd left me in peace for good.
There's nothing I can say that will make you do anything you don't want to, but let me be clear; whatever you have in mind for me, I'm not interested, and I'm not going to rise to the bait.

I never expected to see this guy here
Good luck with that.
... Have we met?
I've been playing him for years, but have only just come back into RP :)
No, I don't think we have. Why? Do I look familiar?
That's good. We need people like Blackjack
I don't know, it's just.... the scar...
[She points to her own stitches with a scarred hand.]
I'm inclined to agree c:
[Crouching so that he's closer to her level, he holds out his own marred hand]
I'm Black Jack

I'm Veronica Madaraki.
Seriously though, why the scar?
no subject
I was involved in an accident when I was a child.
And you?
no subject
[She coughs awkwardly. He told her, she might as well tell him.]
I got some from fights, but they're mostly medical scars.
no subject
Those are quite severe - why did you need so many surgeries?
[He's trying to picture you fighting someone..it's not going very successfully]
no subject
Because I uh....
..... I died...
no subject
[Okay, well that surprises him, if only because it's rare for him to meet anyone who looks like him, let alone have their reasoning be virtually the same as his. Instead of voicing any of this though he just nods again]
It was very lucky you had such a skilled surgeon
[And that's that question answered. He figures he should stop prying now - he normally wouldn't unless it was needed, but even he gets curious]
((ooc: I need to crash, but I'll get back to your tag first thing tomorrow :) ))

[If he thinks that's surprising, Veronica's more surprised that this guy is okay with her saying that she died. Was he one of the professor's experiments?]
Actually... I have two. My sister, and our "father".
no subject
[Noticing the inflexion on the last word, he weighs up whether or not to ask about it.]
Why say it like that? Is he not your real father..?
no subject
Well, he's responsible for our creation. Just not in the normal sense.
no subject
[Again, not something that surprises him]
no subject
[Please allow her a moment to stare dumbfounded at him.]
None of this surprises you, does it?
no subject
No, not really. I've dealt with some very unusual cases in the past, and as it happens, an instance when I had to build someone a body in order for them to live.
I think nowadays it would take a lot to surprise me
no subject
My sister takes some pretty outrageous cases in the past as well.
We once dealt with someone who wanted to live forever.
... It didn't end very well at all.
no subject
[The amount of strange patients and requests he could cite right now..]
How about someone wanting to be a bird? Ever dealt with something like that?
[That was an interesting day..]
no subject
[It could go on forever.]
No, not anyone who wanted to be a bird. Though, we have had someone ask us to make them look like a manga character. Ever had something like that?
no subject
[That particular operation isn't one he keeps in high regard]
What's your fathers name? Perhaps I've heard of him
no subject
Dr. Naomitsu Madaraki. The worlds top biochemist. He can do anything.
no subject
I can't say I've heard his name before, though I'd like to meet him one day
no subject
[Her expression drops.]
You can't. He's been missing for quite some time now.
[She frowns, believing it to be her fault.]
no subject
If it counts for anything, I'm sure he's alright
no subject
Thank you.
So you're a doctor too? You must be very skilled.
