You can't be serious!

There is a war going on in my homeland, and you plan to take me away for "fun" — I can't allowed you to do that. I am a Jarl, and there are people who need me. If you want to go on an adventure, your best choice is to ask an adventurer that's willing to tag along.

[Elisif! Yolenta's pleased to see you. c: She offers a sympathetic smile.]

I do not believe they will be so eager to listen, my jarl.

I am fortunate, perhaps. She chooses to keep me in the lands of Skyrim, rather than sending me off to a world I do not recognize. [She pauses, tilting her head.] I have spoken to others, however, and they tell me that it matters not in what they want. She will choose for them, regardless.

Most do well with what they are given, surprisingly. Two of them even enjoy the change.

[She's not too sure what to think of them. But then again, they are a little weird, even moreso than Skyrim's terms.]

She has done terrible things, but she also has done good things as well. I'd like to think she has some kind of redeeming quality.

I believe we have little choice in the matter, Jarl Elisif. Despite what we may wish to do, and what we are obligated to do, some people believe they can force us to do otherwise.

[At least you're not stuck with Ulfric.]

I am faring, my lady. [And there's a bit of a wry smile to go with it.]

Trapped on a ship with no feasible escape, my ears bombarded with Stormcloak propaganda, and looking after our deceased emperor... A curse and a bit of entertainment both, actually.

And how is the court? And yourself?

One disaster at a time. [But at least all of them have been preventable. So far, anyway.] At least things are safe for you and yours for the time being.

[After a moment, she nods.]

Martin Septim, my lady. The people who control the ship - and our arrival there - seem to be rather adept at magic, both in relation to time and the dead. He has been gone these two hundred years and yet he is whole, flesh, and unharmed. And very alive, as well. [Don't ask her how. In many ways, she doesn't want to know.]

[But she knows what it means. At her core, she knows, because she also knows the vast implications such power can denote. If one man can be brought back from the dead, so can others, so can more dangerous things.]

I wonder as well. It's unnatural. Many claim there are necromancers but I have not seen them personally.

[Not that it would help.]

I am told, too, that Alduin may make an arrival there at some point. And another dragon I'm acquainted with. [UNCOOL.] Which would not be the work of a mere necromancer.
