From Hoshi no Samidare

Oh, hey. Long time no see. Since we're together again, it looks as if you've been bitten by the desire to become God.

... or play a delusional psychic with a complex entertaining thoughts of divinity. Of course that's how you would perceive me. No, I'm not offended in the least. Those confined to a temporally limited sphere of existence can never comprehend that which is eternal.

Regardless, I am here. You are here. And I'm feeling very much in the mood to tear apart time and space with a literal hammer. You can sympathize, of course. Though I doubt many others here do. You've really put me in a difficult position. Thrown me to the den of wolves, that is to say.

So. Let's have at it then.

It is a little disconcerting, having the knowledge of the entirety of human history expressed in words by someone with only a few decades' worth.

A copy will always deteriorate, however. As humans replicate time and time again, it will become inevitable that the original characteristics of any object are forgotten... I wonder how far this constant repetition will lead us astray. After all, I can't say I'm blameless when it comes to imitation.

Only to being a replica of a replica, much like the essence of this pastime we're caught in.

I suppose once you cross the line from original to imitation, the impact of doing it again is... lessened.
