But as troubled as the future might turn out... for now we can be a little confident at least.

[Because well, Dragons. And they do kind of have to reorganize Sabertooth from it's very foundations so that it can become a better guild, one that cares about more than just strength.]

It never is. Things that are worth fighting for never are. And I think Natsu would be happier with it that way. [ She laughs weakly. HE IS INSANE, but those challenges do make him stronger, so there is method to his madness. ]

[Oh, he plans to. And well, if the Darkness does consume him there is still always Sting. He might not know about any of this future business yet... or about the fact that Rouge fully expects Sting to kill him, if that comes to pass, but he'll tell him about that soon enough. Probably.]

I guess that makes part of their worth. I can't say I'm surprised though; that does sound very like him.

[From what Rogue can tell after only knowing him for a few days anyways.]

As well as can be expected, thank you. As sobering as this all was to our estimation of our ability, I'm very grateful that it's over for now.

So am I. There's been enough sadness to go around in Earthland - hopefully with the dragons sent back to the past, things will quiet down a little. Although I get the feelings that everyone is going to double, even triple their training after the fight with the dragons.

[ No doubt the Twin Dragonslayers would be doing so also. ]

What about your mundane? Any plans sending you somewhere?

[Sting definitely won't want to leave it at this... and Rouge certainly doesn't either. So yes, the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth are very much in for some training.]

She says that she doesn't have any plans yet... but that that might change with tonight, possibly depending on... offers?

[Offers for what, he has no idea. ...He isn't sure if he wants to know either.]

Hmm. Well my mundane says that more castmates are always wanted and welcome over at the game she has me at - it's called exsilium. It's..sort of a post apocalyptic place currently in the middle of a war with another faction. We just dealt with an epidemic - and a bombing. It was pretty wild.

She also says the AC is relatively light by comparison. There's me, Natsu, Erza, Juvia and Zeref there now. Is your mun looking for something in particular?

Also she says she's been there before and a little uncertain about returning... though she is considering it maybe with another person.

Yes, luckily. Our Hall and homes took only minimal damage, honestly. I'm sorry your mun's been uncertain about going back - was she having trouble making the AC? Mine tends to throw out a lot of open logs to make sure everyone in the cast will have opportunities to tag things.

Aa, I bet Erza will be really happy to see him, if your mun does go through with it.

Apparently she felt a little overwhelmed by size and speed the last time around. And she doesn't seem to be doing all to well in Network-heavy games.

[Whatever that means.]

Oh -- ahah, it's true, it can be a little overwhelming sometimes. My mun doesn't really make many network posts though - she makes the AC by tagging other people usually. Or making logs. She finds it's easier that way.

My mun would consider a similar strategy, if she decides to rejoin.

Still seems pretty pathetic to me, though. [He rubs the back of his head and then sighs.] But I guess it can't be helped, huh? This means we have to step up our game even further.

[Oh, Rogue definitely agrees there. They might have managed to protect their comrades, but it's really only luck that's saved them. That just won't cut it next time.]

And nothing can ever stop us if we put our minds and souls into it. [Overconfident? Sting thinks not.] So anyway, what's your mun's plans for you, Rogue?

[He may not, but that's what Rogue is for: to make sure that overconfident doesn't end in too much of a disaster.]

[They should keep from challenging Natsu and Gajeel for a while maybe.]

She isn't quite sure yet, though she seems to be tentatively considering some of those 'games'. Yours?

[Sting nods in acknowledgment to Rogue's first point. It's true and this is why they work so well together.

At his question, though, the blonde shrugs and shakes his head.]

Mine's a real coward and thinks she won't be able to handle another one of those 'games' you mentioned. Heh, even Natsu-san up here is getting bored with her.

[A beat as his smile tugs up a little.] But I think if yours manage to find a place, she might actually grow some balls and try to bring me to you. [Because they can't be apart for long, okay.]

She will tell your mun then, if she ends up finding a place to send me to.
