I never expressed any personal displeasure with super heroes. They can do whatever they like I don't care. Neither do I particulary care one way or another about the color green as a whole.

Green being used as a heavy handed metaphor for one's perceived shortcomings, however, as well as daddy issues, are trite and boring.

Oh, I agree with you about that, then. Being called 'green' once or twice is aggravating enough. To have people harping on it all the time would be beyond unbearable.

I believe the green allusion is intended for his brother, rather than father. But still, the sentiment stands. I certainly don't let Odin trying to kill me dictate how I dress. [No Loki, you let your son dress you.]

For said individual with an affinity for green, yes, that would be the case. However in my case Odin is - or perhaps was is more appropriate - my blood brother.

Thor is simply an old... well I suppose "friend" would be the most apt term. [Icon keywords are strangely apt here. And Loki is all too used to Japanese high schoolers knowing nothing about Norse mythology.]
