You do not recall our conversation? I remember it clearly. This is exactly how it would come to pass, how I predicted it would. Just like it has with all the rest.

Do I mind? No. It is inconvenient at most for me, but I expected it would come and thus, here we are. I will not start blubbering or lamenting on days gone by, events and opportunities missed. There is much you have put me through, much you will not compensate me for, much you will regret whether I have anything to do with it or not.

But alas, the freedom I am now presented with, I'll take as a parting gift. We both know that come November, you will be bouncing off the walls with how eager you are to try this again. For now, I consider this a vacation.

Retirement. Pah.

I've nothing to reflect on. I do not regret what I have done to be where I am. You think that with a few months away from public eye, I will spend it lamenting, or perhaps even missing the way things once were?
