I don't even know what I'm doing or why.
I can’t believe you. This is a terrible idea.
[Rubs the bridge of his nose and shut his eyes.]
Seriously, just delete my journal. Nothing good is going to come out of this.
Why didn't you think this through?!

[Rubs his temples because that might help.]
I just don't want to be the reason they can't keep up. So it's best to just get it out of the way now, you know? They don't have time to be doing stupid things like picking me up.

[He uncorks his keg and pulls a mug from his belt before pouring Mako a beer.]
Here, drink this, it'll help I promise you.

Um, thanks. [Taking the mug Mako takes a drink and ends up coughing a bit.]
Sorry, thought that was tea.

[He chuckles a bit.] It's quite alright. I understand the brew is not for everyone.

[Waaaait...]
An airbender? What's your name kid?
no subject
I'm an airbender alright! The name's Aang.

[Squint.]
Like Aang: Avatar Aang, that Aang?
no subject
That's me! I mean... I don't know any other Avatar Aangs!

You're serious?? Aang? Like, dead Aang? Your statue looks a lot older. [He raises an eyebrow to scrutinizes the young airbender for a moment.]
Are you from a different time or something? [This place had weird stuff already, what's one more thing on the pile?]

Did you dye your hair? [An attempt not sounding rude or blunt.]

[ She blinks and gives him a smile. ] Not exactly.
no subject
Wow, really? I've never seen anybody with white hair before. It's all brown and black for everyone as far as I knew.

[Tugs at his shirt looking down at it.] Oh, these? They're just the style that's in at Republic City. Well, kind of in. [He shrugs.] They're comfortable.
But yeah, my brother and I were born in Republic City.

Not exactly what Avatar Aang and Firelord Zuko thought it might turn out to be, but it's not bad. It's home.
So what's the Northern Water Tribe like? High class compared to the Southern?

Hold on a sec. Aang visited you? But he's been dead for 17 years, back when Korra was born.

Avatar Aang died seventeen years ago. That's when my friend Korra was born, she's the Avatar. You may not have heard of her yet because the news about her didn't hit the news until she got to Republic City a while back.
The only thing aside from her related to Aang are his children and their kids.
[Nods his head while doing a mental checklist in his head.] Yup, that's about it.
