Hey. My brother and I are best friends with the Avatar. I don't think there's a lot of stories out there that'll turn me off.

When I was born I was a very sick child. I never opened my eyes or even made a sound. All the healers in my home couldn't help me. My father and mother were so desperate that they took me to this magical oasis and asked the moon spirit for help. When they placed me into the oasis my hair turned white and I cried for the first time.

I kinda cheated, my friend Korra is from the Southern Water Tribe and her clothes look different from yours.

[Tugs at his shirt looking down at it.] Oh, these? They're just the style that's in at Republic City. Well, kind of in. [He shrugs.] They're comfortable.

Republic City?... I've never heard of it but it sounds like a pleasant place.

Yeah, I guess it's all right. I mean it's all good at first and looks great, but it's got a rough side most tourists don't really get to see.

Not exactly what Avatar Aang and Firelord Zuko thought it might turn out to be, but it's not bad. It's home.

So what's the Northern Water Tribe like? High class compared to the Southern?

I never really got a chance to see what the southern water tribe was like, but when Avatar Aang and his friends Katara and Sokka came to visit, they seemed quite impressed.

Avatar Aang died seventeen years ago. That's when my friend Korra was born, she's the Avatar. You may not have heard of her yet because the news about her didn't hit the news until she got to Republic City a while back.

The only thing aside from her related to Aang are his children and their kids.
