And I'm well aware of the point in which you're pulling me from. I doubt there's any time that's worse for me than being locked in the brig for treason by the captain.

Well, it was more of a misunderstanding than anything else, but the captain believed it was treason at the time.

I was trying to be optimistic. [yeah, right] I could have listed off all of the moments where I nearly died, my friends nearly died, some mix of the two, the moment where I thought my best friend was killed, or even the alternate timeline where all of humanity was hunted down and killed. Would that have been better, Christopher?

It was a complicated situation. Phlox had been kidnapped so that he could cure a plague spreading through the Klingon Empire. I had been ordered to slow down Enterprise's search. Captain Archer was unaware of the reason behind the kidnapping nor did he know of my orders. He wasn't very pleased when he found out that I had tampered with the clues that could have been used to find Phlox and even more so when he learned that I had been order to do so and keep quiet of my involvement.

No, it's nothing like that. I'm a Starfleet officer, but I was recruited into an organization when I was an ensign. It was something like covert ops, but I thought I was no longer a part of it when I was assigned to Enterprise.
