fairytalevillain: (Just to see how extraordinary he was)

Found pet: inquire within

This woman is so painfully ordinary. She goes on and on about the most trivial things, blah blah blah.

And I'm soooo over it.

I've been behaving myself, you know. Jim has been trying to be a good boy, following the rules, doing what boring people do every day... That's cute, isn't it? But you never know what to expect with me because I'm far from boring. In fact, I'm the exact opposite. I desperately need something to do before I go MAD!

So, how about this? Let's play a game, shall we?

I've got your pet and it's your job to come find him! Ooh, that sounds splendid, doesn't it? Just like old times. You remember that night? The one by the pool?

Come and play. I'm waiting...

Good to know.

See, it's hard to tell this sort of thing when your greeting is some internet catchphrase.
electricjesus: (are you that stupid?)

[personal profile] electricjesus 2012-02-22 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
Well, to be fair, I was observing and mocking, not asking to be friends. So there was no particular crisis if you took it poorly.
johnwatsonblog: (I enjoy a good cuppa)

[personal profile] johnwatsonblog 2012-02-22 06:54 am (UTC)(link)
Right. Glad that's settled.

Who are you, then, if a proper introduction isn't out of the question?

[John's only other company here is currently Moriarty, so he'll take anything he can get at this point.]
electricjesus: (want to bite)

[personal profile] electricjesus 2012-02-22 06:56 am (UTC)(link)
Nikola Tesla.

[Waiting for the recognition.]
johnwatsonblog: (Well except for one thing you see)

[personal profile] johnwatsonblog 2012-02-22 07:07 am (UTC)(link)
Nikola Tesla... what, the scientist?
johnwatsonblog: (Did I mention we're also flatmates?)

[personal profile] johnwatsonblog 2012-02-22 07:44 am (UTC)(link)
Huh. Same one or just the same name?
electricjesus: (as close to a normal face as nikola gets)

[personal profile] electricjesus 2012-02-22 07:45 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, no, I'm the Nikola Tesla.

And you're John Watson, aren't you?
johnwatsonblog: (I enjoy a good cuppa)

[personal profile] johnwatsonblog 2012-02-22 08:05 am (UTC)(link)
[He could swear he remembered Tesla looking different in history books, but that was a long time ago, so who knows?]

That's right. Have we, er, met?

[Wait, that doesn't even make any sense. He doesn't remember ever meeting Nikola Tesla. He wasn't even alive during the same time. So have a confused look from the doctor.]

Not quite. But my mun sent me by your fellow's canon for a reason. I know the original Sherlock Holmes- the man the books were based off, in my world. James Watson.

Which means I'm sort of talking to you too, James.
johnwatsonblog: (It's hard to describe sometimes)

[personal profile] johnwatsonblog 2012-02-22 08:20 am (UTC)(link)
...

Okay, I'm still fairly new to this whole 'meta knowledge' thing, so you've really lost me there.
electricjesus: (interesting thought)

[personal profile] electricjesus 2012-02-22 08:29 am (UTC)(link)
All right, all right.

You're from a television show, which is based off a book set in the eighteen hundreds.

I'm from a television show, also modern setting, but I'm old, so I lived through that time period. So in my world, the book 'Sherlock Holmes,' was written, inspired by my esteemed colleague, the brilliant James Watson. He required anonymity for his work, so James went to Moriarty, Watson went to you, and the mind went to Sherlock.

So, I felt I should come by and say 'hello.' We can commiserate about how irritating he can get, if you'd like. If that's clear enough?
johnwatsonblog: (Because he's a great man)

[personal profile] johnwatsonblog 2012-02-22 09:22 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I think that about does it.

[It's a lot to take in, but after the whole "you're a fictional character living in someone's headspace" thing, nothing really comes as that much of a shock anymore.]

So this James Watson is your equivalent of Sherlock Holmes, right down to being an irritating know-it-all?

That's him to a tee.

[Tesla is awful. James is actually rather lovely, compared to Sherlock, but he won't be saying so.]
johnwatsonblog: (Just how crazy it all is)

[personal profile] johnwatsonblog 2012-02-22 06:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Did he even do the whole 'faking his own death' thing?
electricjesus: (I literally can't believe how stupid thi)

[personal profile] electricjesus 2012-02-22 06:34 pm (UTC)(link)
We all have, at one point or another. I died alone in a hotel room, in love with a pigeon, if you believe the internet.
johnwatsonblog: (My best friend is a madman)

[personal profile] johnwatsonblog 2012-02-22 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
No, thank you. I've heard enough of what "the internet" thinks about anything to last me a lifetime, if not more.

[personal profile] electricjesus 2012-02-22 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
To be fair, I wasn't really leaving anyone behind who didn't know.
johnwatsonblog: (It's hard to describe sometimes)

[personal profile] johnwatsonblog 2012-02-23 12:04 am (UTC)(link)
Good call. It's not an experience I'd wish on anyone else.
electricjesus: (looking up seriously)

[personal profile] electricjesus 2012-02-23 12:53 am (UTC)(link)
No, I'd imagine not.

[There are people he would be sorry to lose.]
