Well, as far as I've learned, alternate universes can coexist mostly without ever having cross-interaction, so really it would make more sense for us to be "alternate-universe-twins" of each other, rather than, you know, one being based off of another? ...Though my mun is shaking her head at my theory, I'd like to point out that she isn't the one currently studying to become a Starfleet officer. [She refuses to believe she is actually the "clone" here in this situation. REFUSES!]
