I won't try to dissuade you, mundane. I only hope you will play my part with some measure of authenticity, regardless of the stage you choose. It isn't often that I am just another character, rather than the praywright. It might prove... interesting.

If only others shared your sentiment. However, it matters very little. The destruction of Zarathustra was disappointing, but not unexpected. There were, and still are, contingency plans in place, though they won't be as gentle.

I'm not sure that Shion and her friends will agree with any other methods you attempt to enforce.

That never stopped me before. Zarathustra's destruction set off other chains of events. They will be forced to face those repercussions. All that I can do is ensure that their efforts do not make anything worse.

It's good that Shion came to understand why you did all that you did. Even if they disagree with your methods, maybe they'll be more open to helping.

Arbitrary morality must be set aside. The entire lower domain must be preserved, and no price is too great to ensure that the extinction of humankind is averted.

You can't expect them to understand that. None of us can. It's ingrained into their nature from birth. Yeshua knows this better than any of us, he's lived among them more than we have.

I am not blind to the suffering of humanity, Mary. But I must stomach it if they are to be saved. Humanity is simply too short-sighted to be concerned about the long-term.

If there were any other way, Mary, I would do it. That is why I was trying to trigger the Recurrence. It was far less painful for all parties involved, until a more viable solution became apparent.
