No, really... You don't need to find another game to put me in. OU, AU or whatever.

So just stop with whatever is going on in that head of your's. I'm perfectly fine with the way things are right now, I don't care how quiet it is.

You know saying that is probably only going to encourage them, right? I tried telling mine she didn't need to put me in a game but she reserved me at [community profile] savetheearth anyway.

Right. It's been a while since she played me, so she has kind of missed it.

For now, it seems like it would just be me there. She is hoping eventually that you and Al come as well. Where does your mun currently have you anyway, if she already has you in a game?

[personal profile] endureandwait 2013-05-23 12:01 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. So you can't go back to that other game if someone else has you there...

Mine has heard of that series but hasn't read those books. I guess it's up to your mun which one she might want to choose to take you to.

Mine learnt a little about myths and stuff in school, which was her favourite part about classics, apparently, so she can understand that appeal.

Mine has heard of that game, at least one of her friends is intending to app there. I guess the au thing caught her interest a bit more with this Save the Earth place though.

[personal profile] endureandwait 2013-05-23 12:14 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, so they are sending someone else there instead?

Mine hasn't really done an au thing in a game before. So she is still kind of nervous and working on the 'reincarnation' parts of the application, but she has more or less done the rest of it besides the samples. I don't think there are chips in this one, more these 'echoes' that bring back memories or scars and powers.

[personal profile] endureandwait 2013-05-23 12:45 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. Mine had me in a couple of games before. Had you in two or three over a few years as well.

She's finding it interesting trying to make things parallel with canon in this new setting, at least. Figuring ways around things. Over forty? That's a lot! I don't think mine even has that many characters.

[personal profile] endureandwait 2013-05-23 12:57 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, mine was the same when she changed games with you.

Well, in terms of this game the easier it is for them to come up with an au the easier the app probably is, at least.

[personal profile] endureandwait 2013-05-23 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
More than usual?

[personal profile] endureandwait 2013-05-23 03:32 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose. And there's potential as well, once you start getting memories and powers back and all, like your alchemy.

[personal profile] endureandwait 2013-05-23 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. Well, they could always make it one of the later echoes you get? They can choose what and when you get memories and things back. So if they wanted, they could play you knowing about alchemy but unable to use if for a while if they wanted to try playing you without it.

[personal profile] endureandwait 2013-05-23 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not sure there are really 'canon points' with this game. Mostly since we all start off with this au and eventually regain memories and things from back home of our lives there. But they could easily delay you getting back certain memories, even out of order, or regaining your prosthetics if they wanted.

[personal profile] endureandwait 2013-05-23 04:14 am (UTC)(link)
That would make sense. But with this game I don't think that matters so much. But they can control how much you know and remember about what happened back home in Amestris. So to a point they could sort of control your 'canon point' in that sense.

[There's a small girl with a very large mechanical scythe casually slung over her shoulders.]

At least you have a universe.

[Bitter? No. More impatient.]

Must be nice. All I have is a snow field and a bunch of wolf-men.

Not quite. More like my mun got trigger happy and picked me up before anything remotely resembling concrete was revealed about my world.

[She casually buries the tip of the scythe in the ground before moving to sit on the handle.]

The way things are now... You're really fine with it? [Maybe casting a glance at his automail.]

i have no idea wtf i'm doing with him jsyk, need a canon review so bad

[personal profile] greedyprince 2013-05-23 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
How selfish, to only care about your own desires when the people in that world might need your help.

If time is your concern, it shouldn't be a problem. Whenever you're sent home, you'll pick up right where you left off. You won't remember a thing about that other world, like you were never there in the first place. So there's no reason not to go along with it.

Besides, it's what your creator wants. You're not strong enough to go against their will, so why even try?
