I think I've really got it this time! It took a few tries, but... this time for sure! It's the perfect omelet.
Shrimp and paprika are both great so if I put them in an omelet...
Oh, and I added a few other ingredients but I can't remember what they were now. I'm sure they'll help. They'll be tons of flavor this time!

Do you need help?
[Please say yes. Please say yes.]
no subject
You'll help me by trying it though, right?
no subject
Try it...?
[Shrimp and paprika? Mystery ingredients? In an omelet? Is there any level of courage high enough for this?]
Of course.
[THE THINGS HE DOES FOR HIS SOCIAL LINKS.]

Oh, good! I promise you this time I won't fail!
[so here you go, yu. try some. it's all yours.]

[His hands shaking as he scoops up a spoonful, silently praying to whatever deities would listen to spare his poor soul. In his mouth it went, shaking the whole way...]
[...one gulp, and down he went.]

Narukami-kun?! [OH NO SHE KILLED HIM YOSUKE IS GONNA BE SO MAD........]

What ingredients did you add, exactly?
no subject
Some tofu from Rise-chan's place sounded like a good idea. Oh, and some chocolate to make sure it was a little sweet. I thought maybe some spices this time would make it taste better too. So I added a whole bunch. They all had fancy names so they must taste good, right?
no subject
That... might be too much ingredients.
[Hey remember when the four of you stuck to a recipe and made a cake and no one was clutching their throats in pain? That was a good time.]
no subject
Too many? [but.......] I put so many in it last time but Kanji-kun said it didn't taste like anything. I thought I'd do it right this time and put in even more.
[come on protag you KNOW that only happened because Naoto prevented them from ruining it.]
no subject
...what? After some lessons under her belt, there is no way she won't let anyone get hurt again by...herself? Too confusing.]
Are you sure you made everything ok?
no subject
Huh? Of course I did. I was really careful this time. [rude!]
no subject
Maybe we should do a taste test then?
no subject
You mean... taste it myself? [but that goes against the cooking 101 law! that she just made up.]
I always thought you weren't allowed to try your own dish.
no subject
[Yukiko used Common Sense! Is it effective?]
no subject
[but... she supposes......... she could try it too. she just didn't think that was kosher. is it?]
no subject
I learned that there's no better satisfaction than trying something you made. If something's off, there's no need to worry because you can always try again.
no subject
Maybe you're right. I never really thought of it like that before. I guess I always thought... the satisfaction comes from having other people tell you how delicious your food is.
[but she supposes that comes later after you get it right. right?]
no subject
That too but it's good when you both enjoy it.
-forever unsure on voice-
[Thank god he's found one of his many ladies~]
You tried cooking again?
no subject
[oh u]
Of course! I said I was going to get good at it all on my own so that's exactly what I'm going to do. Which means I have to keep practicing.

[Forever a flirt?]

[teddie no.........]

[I think you meant Teddie yes........</small.]

I don't think I really need to think about something like that right now. I just want to be a better cook so I can help more at the inn.
no subject
Oooh! Can I help too then? I don't want Yukiko-chan to get too tired! [Like a good little bear. ]

[Where's Shinji when you need him?]
no subject
[at least Fuuka isn't here helping her]
no subject
If you need someone to taste it, I'll volunteer.
[Akihiko, what have you done!?]
no subject
Really? That would be very helpful. [Hooray! Here you go! Eat up!!]
no subject
N-ng... it's... it's unique t-to be sure...
[He's not staggering because of the food, inner-ear infection.]
no subject
Unique? [oh.......] You're... not going to tell me it's unique in a good way, are you...
no subject
I-it's not bad?
[He can force himself to say one little white lie to spare Yuki's feelings but... he can't force himself to say it's good.]
Rise would have been too predictable. ^_~
[Whoops, there's a strange girl looking at you, Yukiko. And she's silent just long enough for it to be uncomfortable before she finally speaks.]
... Aren't the ingredients in an omelette supposed to balance?
[That's the way it works in cooking games, at least. Chiaki assumes it's the same for real life.]
no subject
Balanced?
no subject
[Chiaki, that's not how real life works...]
no subject
I don't think it works like that for actual cooking.
no subject
[Have another just-long-enough-to-be-awkward pause...]
... But if you use ingredients that don't work well together, I don't think it would taste very good.
Isn't that the same as getting a low score?
