You know, it really worries me when you get that glint in your eye. Even more so when it happens in this place. You know I can't do anything about it, why won't you give me at least a little hint?

...How about a hint that doesn't involve talking to a time-traveling, pyromaniac, mythical bird?

Yes I know phoenixes aren't pyromaniacs but seriously, the whole freaking lighthouse was on fire I'm not just going to let that go.



I'm really not going to like how this ends, am I.

No, nobody. Probably. I'm assuming because it wasn't actually there before it went up.

So...it appeared and then blew up? At least no one was hurt.

(Assumptions never turn out well for these two.)

It happened overnight. As far as I know, it appeared on fire. But you can see why I'm reluctant to visit for a chat. [ Although she did investigate the place! ]

Oh, exactly. But even if you did visit for a chat, you'd have backup.

Oh yeah? [ She chuckles. ] Is that a promise? [ Not that she would wish the island on anyone, but she would love to have her best friend around. ]

Definitely! Of course...there's always that one annoying obstacle in your path. Well, in mine. (The island does sound intriguing to her, but both mun and she are-for once-in agreement on -both concerned with app-age; tons of Super-history.)

Yeah, I figured. [ She shrugs. She doesn't want to have to tell her friend that powers are so rarely helpful - and that even Superman couldn't find a way to get them out. ]

Don't worry about me. I've got Babs and Tim to take care of, so I can't do something stupid that'll get me killed.

Oh lord, Kara, she's younger than I am. She has one year of training, total. I'm teaching her how to throw a batarang.

I think she just turned 18. And she's definitely not the same.
