[ There's a small pause. ]

A new spouse isn't something I want, you know. Unless you've forgotten, I'm already married! But, I don't want to leave him in an unfamiliar place...

[ It's a hard decision, ok?! If mun had a kid, she would understand. In the end, Robin sighs and offers a smile. ] I don't really have much of a choice, do I? For once, I'm not the one in charge here. I just hope we both don't regret this too much.

Mother! I'm so glad you might be coming along with me on my adventure. I've heard a lot of good things about Holly Heights from my mun, but having you there will make things even better.

[rufure]

I've heard some good things about this place as well! Who knows, we might find some interesting things there. [ Like toasters! They can be used to make food and as weapons! ]

Though, it'll be weird not being with your father... [ smiles softly. ] But at least we won't be alone in this place.

I was planning on taking a lot of notes about all my discoveries, but now that you're there, we can compare our notes together. Do you think of the things we'll learn about will help us with any battle tactics?

I'm sure father will come around! If you're there, he's bound to come to your side eventually. He might be a little late, though, but I believe in him.

[rufure]

I was thinking about that too, taking notes. If we compare our notes, we can see if we missed any new discoveries. [ She pauses for a minute. ] There's a good chance we might! Anything is possible, Morgan.

[ She lets out a light laugh. Knowing her husband, he'll rush to be by her side again. ] So do I. He'll come around, maybe with the other Shepherds as well.

[tacticianed]

I'm sure your notes will be better than mine, but I'll catch up eventually! I'm going to set a goal right here and now that I'll come up with a great battle tactic that impress you, mother.

I can see him bringing the others along, too. It seems we all come together, don't we? That's why I wasn't worried about going alone because I knew a friend of mine would eventually come and join me.

[rufure]

I'm looking forward to it! Maybe it'll even surpass my plan. [ probably not but LET THE KID DREAM. She gives him a pat on the head. ]

It seems so. We tend to flock together rather than alone, even if we're a bit late. Almost like sheep... I'm starting to wonder if we're shepherds or sheep now.

You really think I'd be able to surpass you one day? [Because he'd like to, and he hopes to, but hearing it from his own mother will be the best reassurance he could get.]

Of course. As time goes on, we get better at the things we do. [ In the future, Morgan, you will be better than your mother. ] Just keep working hard!

That's true. In the end, we're all leading each other. Our bonds are strong and they'll never break no matter what - but I've said that a lot, haven't I?

But you're a total legend, mother! I'm still working on becoming a worthy son of yours. You always seem to know exactly what I'm planning. [more like scheming whoops.]

You have, but it doesn't make it any less meaningful. I can see how happy and proud it makes you when you talk about the Shepherds.

Hey! [ She ruffles his hair lovingly. ] You don't need to prove that to me. From the moment we met, I knew you were a worthy son! And besides, all mothers know what their sons are scheming.

I'm very proud of them. Seeing them over come so many trials... I'm glad to be their leader. Just like how I'm proud to be your mother.

[tacticianed]

[So many mom feelings!! He'll keep it together and laugh.] But you're the best at it because you're the best mom!

[Instead of saying anything, he goes to hug her, laughing as he does so. He isn't sure how to express how much those words mean to him. He does want to lighten the mood a little, so he does eventually speak again.] You're even proud of us when we cause a fit in the camps over a monster bug?

I 'unno about the best mom, but I'm happy to gain your approval. [ My Son Can't Be This Cute! ]

Even then. Though, I can't help but worry a bit when you guys freak out about that. [ She laughs and hugs him back. ] After all, we can't be trampled by a monster bug, now can we?

[tacticianed]

You are the best mom because you're my mom and you're super smart and you know so many things. [This is the best reason you cannot deny it.]

Next time I'll try to keep it in a cage better. I was only trying to help Noire with her fear of insects. She started making a little progress... before she started foaming at the mouth and passing out.

[rufure]

[ OH NO MY SON IS SO CUTE!! ] Oh Morgan, you flatter me way too much. My future self must be pretty lucky to have you as a son!

[He scratches the back of his head.] Uh, well... I was hoping if I showed her something really scary, she wouldn't be scared of the smaller insects.

[ Oh Morgan... ] That might have worked with someone else but you know how... Gentle Noire can be sometimes. [ when she's not screaming about BLOOD AND THUNDER. ] It was probably best to take it a bit slow with her.

Yes, that sounds a lot better, and easier for Noire's heart. [ The poor girl. She pats Morgan's head, smiling. ]

Now to figure out a way for Severa to cook for me again. [He looks a little sad now.] She got really mad when I said something was a little off about her cooking, but I still said it tasted really good. [Robin your son is a player forgive him.] What should I do?

You know, I don't think I've heard my mun freak out this bad, but I sure am glad to see that you're okay.

Hopefully it's the good kind of freaking out. My mun's pretty happy as well.

[ Well you got the dead part right. The last time she checked, she gave her life to defeat Grima once and for all. She gives him a sad smile, shaking her head. ]

Yeah, I guess I don't go down that easily. And I have my memory too! [ She's trying to make light of the situation. ] That's always a plus, right?
