I remember hearing that excuse before... and it took me two regenerations to deal with it, and even then its still a sore spot. So tell us another one.

Preservation of peace?! With this act of madness?! I said that when I sealed away the last of our people! And then what did I become? I was angry! I hid it well, but I was angry at the world. I didn't want to be remembered for ending the legacy of the Time Lords, but I did it believing I saved us from the Daleks... and then that failed. So what makes you think you got it right?!
