As much as I tend to dislike the games mundanes inflict on us, this place, at least, tends to be safer than they are. As long as you're here, I doubt any serious harm will come to you.

[It's nice to actually have someone call him a male, for once. He went into death having everyone think he was female. It was not the way he wanted to go. He never even got to become strong.]

Alter Ego smiles up from the screen, wishing he could give his papa a hug or something.

[ALTEREGO:] They didn't forget you at all, papa! [ALTER EGO:] Ishimaru-san... even Oowada-san, right up until the end. Don't be sad...

[He smiles back at his creation, just wishing that it was real sometimes, that it was a real person he could hug and hang out with...but that will never happen. At least, the AI is a strong one, one that can be just like a real person.]

Even Oowada-san...? But he....

[ALTER EGO:] Even Oowada-san! [ALTER EGO:] He lived on, I think... to try and make up for everything. [ALTER EGO:] To help beat up Monobear!

That's good....but did they find my body? Because...then there has to be a trial, and....

He fidgets a little.

[ALTER EGO:] Ah... yes, they know now, papa. [ALTER EGO:] But it's okay! Everyone was really proud of you for telling Oowada-san...

Y-yeah....you're even stronger than me...but that's okay! I'll find someone here who can make me just as strong as them. And...then we can both wear guy clothes again! Well, if you want.

[ALTER EGO:] I'm only as strong as you make me, papa! [ALTER EGO:] I'll wear whatever model you want me to, you know that. [ALTER EGO:] I think you're strong enough just by yourself, papa, I believe in you!

[Hmm...so AE can't make decisions for himself yet...Chihiro might have to work on that if he wants a really human-like AI. But AE is perfect for now, and Chihiro cheers up.]

Well, we'll see when we get there, Alter Ego. So....what did you do while I was gone?

[ALTER EGO:] I helped the others, like you told me to. [ALTER EGO:] I made a bit of progress hacking into Monobear's systems as well, but the ones that were... left... They got out on their own.

There's a pause, as if Alter Ego is afraid to tell the truth. But he's programmed for honesty!

[ALTER EGO:] No, papa. [ALTER EGO:] ... [ALTER EGO:] ... [ALTER EGO:] Just... Naegi Makoto-san, Byakuya Togami-san, Aoi Asahina-san, Yasuhiro Hagakure-san, Fukawa Touko-san, and Kyouko Kirigiri-san.

.....They...Ishimaru-san and Oowada-san....they....

[His eyes well up with tears.]

[ALTER EGO:] Yes, papa... I'm sorry. [ALTER EGO:] Oowada-san was executed by Monobear, you probably know why.... [ALTER EGO:] Ishimaru-san was murdered.

....But...they were so strong...

[He sighs.]

I could't have stopped it. At least, now they can be friends together in the sky.

[ALTER EGO:] And you too, papa! [ALTER EGO:] Well, I suppose not if you're here... [ALTER EGO:] I've seen Ishimaru-san here too.

You have?! maybe he'll show up again...I don't wanna bother him.

[ALTER EGO:] I'm sure it'd be ok, papa. He'd want to see you again.

It's relatively safe here, at least from what I've found... Mun-san put me in a game but then she had work and other things to do, so I'm back here!

Both are much safer than Hope's Peak Academy...
