[A sigh.] You remind me of a friend of mine... He was technically a monster, but I could never see him as anything but human. As cheesy as it sounds, he had a human heart. You aren't a normal human, but I think you've got it where it counts.

Maybe not yet. But the point is, it doesn't matter who or what you have been, but what you're going to be. If you're genuinely remorseful for the things you've done, it's proof you can change and do good things, too.
