Honestly I am not sure I could call them bad. The game is progressing smoothly and everyone is still alive thus far, and it isn't like I know anything about my future self while there.

We only just got everybody into the Medium. I was the first in, and I have ascended enough to get to my server player's land. not very far, in other words.

Not like us, then. We have someone who is much too easily distracted instead, but I am not sure which is worse. In fact, he was the last one in and I am getting the sinking feeling I will have to bodily drag him away from his Alchemiter sometime in the future.

Perhaps sentient is the wrong word. But I'd say there has to be some sort of intelligence behind how each session is wired the way it is.

...yes. It isn't as if the dreams were not enough to be worried about. Although, I can't help agreeing with you there, from what I have heard thus far each session is very specifically tailored to challenge that specific set of players.

On the other hand, there is a chance of outsmarting the game if we can figure out how it works.

I haven't woken up on Derse yet, so I've only heard about the dreams second-hand. But what you've said about the challenge seems right, at least in our case. The only one who's had no trouble at all adapting thus far in our session is Bela.

That's a possibility. Although considering how complex the game's proven itself to be, something like that could take weeks of play even without other distractions.

Oh, so you're on Derse too. I'm... not properly awake there, but from what I am getting so far I am no longer so sure I want to. Between all ten of us I honestly can not tell who is taking this the best, but a few were so unsurprised it's a bit suspicious.

I believe we are well capable of making enough trouble to keep ourselves occupied... but it might be something worth considering none the less.
