Mun has far too many OC ideas
No.
[But--]
No. [A paw slams down on the ground to emphasis the word.]
Really, you don't have anything better to do than to drag me away from my kingdom? Why not care for the speech-lost one? His howling has been growing more and more frantic the past couple days. [A scowl appears on Lucia's muzzle as she speaks her next words.] Or even better, talk to the demon who has a bit too much tongue in his mouth. Keep him occupied. He seems most concerned about you, and it would at least shut his vain jabbering up for a little while.
Or the best one yet: let me go. I have duties to attend to back in Abaven. Northern Star above, I can't trust anyone to keep track of the records without me there to help. Useless on their own, the lot of them.

Twitchy. Untrusting. Out of place. Nothing I haven't dealt with before... except for the fact that he's speech-lost. Feral. [She sits down on her haunches, tail curling over a back leg.] The ferals are kept out of the cities; chased out of towns. They stick to themselves in the wilderness, so meeting them is a rare thing if one isn't traveling. Good thing too since it's nigh impossible to actually communicate effectively with them, which makes encounters dangerous.

They don't deserve to be chased. They has just as much reason as you to live peacefully.

[She lets the paw fall back and while doing so shifts her weight a bit.]
But a lot of ferals choose to be nuisances and, because of that, there is a blanketing distrust for all of them. It is by no means any of the compliant ones that are causing the problems.

Maned Wolf, actually. But you aren't the first to make that mistake, and more in likely won't be the last. [She flicks her tail to the side, effectively ending the light wagging it'd been doing.] A lot changes over time. The place I come from would surprise you greatly when compared to your homeland, I feel.

Perhaps. But it's the same logic by the sounds of it.

True, but I think I've got a pretty fair grasp of what most of it looks like from the (what's the term? Mundane? Human?) the female who seems keen on keeping me. A lot less greenery from what I've seen so far, which is a tad concerning.

That depends on where you are.
[Also Lucia should have noticed by now that Derek smells of wolf.]
no subject
[Oh, she's noticed. Noticed it when Derek first showed up actually, but there were a lot of humans around Abaven that worked hands-on with wolf packs and multiple other animals. So it wasn't what she'd call an unfamiliar or startling scent.]

Does all animals, except for the ferals, talk in your world?
