dammit, abc, stop playing with my heart
There there, pet, perk up, hm? Try and contain your disappointment. Two weeks' time isn't too high a price for what you want, and for knowledge especially.
But, ah - do remember. Be careful what you wish for. Wishes so rarely turn out as one expects.

What knowledge is she expecting?
no subject
What happens next, of course. She's rather voracious when it comes to her stories.
no subject
Yes, but clearly she expects something to happen. What is it?

[ Mr. Gold's cane scientifically applied to Regina's face. I mean. WHat.] The usual, I suspect. A prince arrives on scene, saves the princess, stops the evil queen, all live happily ever after.

But you just don't think it'll be that easy. [lol at the idea that this has anything to do with her.]
no subject
It never is, dear. Oh yeah, the storytellers might like it to seem that way, but. [ A knowing little smile. ] The whole tale is usually much bumpier.
no subject
Alright, then how do you think the story will go? What kind of wrenches will be thrown in this time?
no subject
Well, if you'll forgive me being perfectly frank, I do believe our heroine can be fairly dim at times, and that might hamper the arrayed forces of good a bit. As for the ending - I would hate to give it all away. It's still very early.

Everybody does stupid things every so often. Nobody's immune. But if it seems to be a running theme, she's got to have other facets that make her ideal for this - role. [And she is frowning again, but this time it's mostly in jest.] But just a prediction! How can you give it all away if you don't actually know.
no subject
I've no doubt she's stubborn enough to make up for it, though that can just as easily be another disadvantage. [ It's so easy to fall back into that teasing banter, why why why. A smug smirk that says I know something you don't know. ] Perhaps I do.
no subject
Stubbornness could just as easily be considered determination, though, and that's hardly a fault. [she sees that and she crosses her arms. that is so not fair.] Well, if you do, I think you should share so that others can help. Or just put an end to it yourself.
no subject
A fair point. But at this moment it could still go either way. [ He's never played fair, Belle, you know that. Or you would if he was being honest but PFFT HIM HONEST??? Nope nope nope. ] Not my role to play, dearie. I'm hardly the hero type.
no subject
[you know what, fine, but she will find out about these shenanigans eventually.] You don't have to be the hero to offer assistance, if you're so against it. After all, there must be something you would gain by guiding things along. That is, if you really know how it will play out.
no subject
[ But thankfully 'eventually' is not 'now'. ] Oh, I give the occasional nudge now and again. But where's the fun if I give the whole game away?
no subject
And I'm sure the cryptic hints are absolutely infuriating. Besides, I'm not there. How will I know how it ends if you don't tell me?
no subject
Most likely, yeah, when they pick up on my hints at all. As I said - they can be fairly dim. [ Besides, I'm not there. It hurts like his knee on a bad day, and doubly so. No, you're not there as far as he knows, and the 'yes but' is terrible and entirely his fault for not looking hard enough. For not looking at all. He swallows. ] I'd not realized you were so interested in my story.
i can html i promise.
Then perhaps cryptic isn't exactly the the method that you should use. [she grins. maybe they haven't talked much, but she's got a good enough gauge to know that anything less than that would never fly. it fades a bit at his pause - she's said something wrong, hasn't she?] Of course I am. You can't tell me there's so much more to it than usual and not expect me to wonder.
no subject
And you have experience in wishes, do you?
no subject
A fair amount, yes. Been a while since last we met, hasn't it?
no subject
What do you want?
[ and what happened to him, since he actually looks... human. ]
