There really is something to be said about determination and persistence. Too much of that could kill a girl.

I'm pleased to hear that I turned out to be such an inspiration.

[Perhaps is the correct answer.

He thinks for a moment and then nods. What else does he do besides wander around? This time he just doesn't have a kingdom to save or an evil to vanquish. Nope, he's just here at the whim of his mun to talk to his favorite Twilight Princess.

It's time for his inspection too, but he's not as invasive. He just glosses her over with a concerned look for a moment.]

[She could ask a lot of questions and it wouldn't be unlike her to either. Midna's got a bit of a penchant for being nosy and sticking herself in situations that probably shouldn't involve her. But in her opinion, if it's Link's business, it's her business, as well.

His examination - as subtle as it is in comparison to hers - does not escape her eye.]

Yes? Do you see something off about me?

[He glances up when he's caught. There's no answer at first, and since he's already been caught, he looks again a little more closely. She looks fine. At least she doesn't seem to have been in any trouble lately, so that's good.

So he smiles and shakes his head. Nothing off about her! She's completely on. Or something. Whatever.]

[She gives him a knowing smile. He thinks he's so clever. Actually he probably doesn't. He isn't like her. He's never made a habit of being full of himself.]

Oh, I see.

[Midna grins.] You were admiring me. I suppose it's been long enough that it's warranted.

[There's that choking noise again as he shakes his head a few times. He's red again too. No, he was just making sure she was okay! Really! Sure, there's a lot to admire obviously, but he's entirely respectful!]

[He's so much fun to tease.]

I wasn't being serious. You're wound much too tight. You should let me do something about that.

[It's been so long for her to see him that she really can't resist.]

[That makes him tilt his head slightly like an inquisitive dog... or wolf. Do something about it? He's thinking some sort of tease again, probably with magic. Pardon him if he looks completely skeptical.]

[She can't win them all. She laughs a little.]

I don't suppose you feel like giving me a ride.

[She's pretty sure the wolf thing isn't happening anymore, but he could get creative.]

[If he were anyone else, that comment would probably make his mind wander a bit, but yes the wolf thing is probably over.

Still, he scratches his chin and actually looks like he's in deep thought about the problem at hand as if Midna might have really been serious. He glances over his shoulder, back to her, and then back over his shoulder again.]

Piggyback?

[So yeah, he might be smirking a tiny bit. He can tease too, just not on Midna's level.]
