Why yes, that was a brilliant idea. (You got her to laugh. That's the important part.) A++ would buy again.
Now, as for your plans to proceed with... well, kinda sorta canon. Y'all need to start pinning things down and figure out if you're bringing whoever it is playing Jinksy along for the ride, which probably means telling them the plan. And then you need to do whatever else it is you're doing.
(Not that I mind... certain aspects of this plan. I just. Why me.)
I'm surprised you are planning to keep as much as you are, even as you plan to sidestep the Warehouseasplode. Not that I mind missing out on a ginormous explosion, of course, but some of the stuff that comes after? Sheesh.
At least I have however long it takes for you to get there to brace myself for it.
