Okay, so maybe he can't help but glare, just a little. Even if it hasn't been against the supernatural - we all know how his first time with them went - he's been looking after himself for how-long. He doesn't need someone to try and fill in a role he's already filled in himself.

Well, the game my mun really wants you at is maisondeportes. Basically, it's a horror game where any manner of things can happen to you. Latest thing was being broken up into groups and having to face our deepest fears and nightmares.

The game's pretty slow, all said, but there's a lot of us here. I mean, Dean's around. And Cas. Gabriel's...somewhere. Angel chick named Rachel. Boy named Ben who your mun may know about. My mom's there.

Aaaah...Dad's there, too. ((And Lucifer but he's really doing his best to ignore that lalalalala.))

To be fair, Gabriel was...well, dead before Michael came into the picture. I'm not sure how much he could have done, but he tried standing up to Lucifer before things got that far.

[Yeah. Sam? Also feels pretty damned guilty about that, too. Because Gabriel came down on their side and ended up dead. That...that's happened way too much around Sam lately.]

Well, if it's any consolation? This is probably the one place where being related to us might help more than harm. There's an amulet that we have. Blood linked. It doesn't stop everything, but it's pretty powerful mojo against most of the shit the house can throw at us.

[And Sam's the one wearing it because Sam's the most freaking psychic out of the whole group. The house either loves him or hates him, he hasn't decided but it likes to dump shit all over him on a regular basis. Luckily, just being a former vessel isn't enough to make Adam more than mid-level sensitive...]

That.. really sucks. If he was standing up to dear old Luci, then he couldn't have been that bad of a guy.. angel. It's good to know there are a few decent angels left in the world.

[That's one thing Adam feels particularly bad about. He's just really glad he wasn't pulled in to being a full Winchester and into the whole hunting thing, the "losing people" shtick being a big reason for that.]

That's comforting. [Kind of.] So long as I'm not on lockdown again and a few good things happen every once in a while, it can't be worse than being eaten by a ghoul and locked in a Lucifer's cage.

Actually, he's kind of an asshole. But he's an asshole that's mostly on our side, so it kind of works out.

[Truth to tell, Sam's almost fond of the former Trickster these days. Partly because Gabriel's learned not to fuck with the amulet's mojo.]

[The time he ended up turned himself into a sparkling pink Ewok who could only SPEAK Ewok was especially amusing.]

Ah...well, not entirely. I mean, it's not the Cage. Lucifer can't really touch you and he's far more interested in me still, anyway. The house itself...well, it's more the spirits that inhabit the house. The ones that can pull you in for surgery or treatments that leave you different than you were before, maybe seeing things differently or...well, Cas ended up with wings that aren't his. Same with Rachel. And the things that wander the house at night are not things to be messing with if avoidable.

The...sort of good news is that if you get eaten, the house stitches you back together good as new and brings you back in a couple of days?
