Thirty seconds. I was on the screen for thirty seconds.

...all right, yes, you've loved the reboot of my movie with that other other guy. And you loved me for me in New York. So this isn't spur of the moment -- you didn't just pick me up for a whim. Of course now I feel like some sort of dormant virus ... but that's neither here nor there.

[Taking off his glasses, he rubs the bridge of his nose.] You know how complicated this going to get, right? Even if they need the ...hah, voice of reason. Or someone to throw mini-vans. And as for Tony -- listen, I came. From Canada. Mostly on foot. And I didn't sleep much around other people - you know the US government is still trying to lock me down, right? So I couldn't travel as quick as you'd think.

...but he called me. So I came. End of story. That's what you do when you have -- ah ... one quasi-best-friend and three ...I-think-we're-friends, and ... Natasha. Whatever Natasha and I are. They call, I answer.

Huh. I didn't realize I complicated myself. Irony, Banner. Let's enjoy that.

It might shock you to hear this, but we take care of our own here. Now that includes you. If what's best for you is to be under the radar then that's what SHIELD is gonna make happen. Trade off is when something big comes down we're gonna call and we sincerely hope you answer.

I'll be honest, Pepper, at a certain point I thought he was making the whole thing up? Or he sustained a serious head injury building the Mark 527.

It does sound like something he'd make up in one of his binges. [She has to agree there.] I'm still trying to get over how many there were.

But they were very memorable thirty seconds? It really tied the whole story together...

[He snorts, faintly, along with a quick and quiet grin.] I guess it makes it cohesive on whether or not Tony Stark spent about two hours talking to himself.

If it helps, my mun thinks that scene was one of the best in the movie. Just because it was so perfect.

...I'll admit, it did tie things together nicely. Otherwise Tony sort of sounds like he's writing his memoirs.

And it provided a nice chuckle to go out on after everything, too.
