I would have appreciated it if you'd taken me from a slightly later time. I know that you would have had to do a considerable amount of canon-review, given how long it's been since you've read some of the books, but-- just after the celebration on Endor? Really? I'm not sure I'm going to be in any state to handle a version of Father that might be younger than I am.
Still, I suppose we're all guided where we need to be. I'm not entirely certain why you're so excited about possible, ah, CR? With this Captain Kirk, though.
