You jump into the pit of an active volcano. Your body continually burns and regenerates and burns again, preventing you from moving, but you can't die because you're immortal. So you're stuck there, unable to die, no longer recognizable as human, until the volcano erupts and spits you out. Could be a few years. Could be a few decades. Centuries. Hard to say, really.
