(FOUND THE RIGHT PB AT LONG LAST)

Madame Secretary,

I know, I do, that you have been looking for the "proper face" for some time now in the ten years of our on and off again relationship, and I WAS greatly missing a face with my resemblance, and my hair, especially these last few weeks, but if you would please cease from giggling at me and making grabby hands at my hair, it would most certainly be appreciated.

Furthermore, let us address the last few weeks in game. That I am unhappy is a given. I do not know if I know how to be happy there, but it is harder when I feel as though I have come under attack for not living up to the standards imposed on me by the expectation of others. I do not intend to leave the game by any means, particularly as I am eeking out a place there, but on the other hand, I do wish for a place where I might be happier, should one exist or be created. Please look for one of those such places for me, to balance out the events in our current game. I feel under attack there, and I know that, in some cases, you are feeling the same.

To this, I say that if you truly feel most comfortable with Les Amis and only wish to play with us there, why do you not step up and drop the other characters? I realize why you hesitate, but you have said yourself that writing for them is not enjoyable anymore, and feels much more like work.

This business of games and such, as I understand it, is meant to be a diversion, and enjoyable. If you do not enjoy writing for some of them, why do you continue to do it? Your sense of guilt is, I think, over developed, and I think you may be happier should you be able to do as you wish, instead of doing what you feel you owe the other players. They are human. YOU are human. They will understand, or are not worthy of your friendship and your time.

At least consider that last point if you are truly so unhappy. I do not like to see you this way, even though I am irritated beyond belief at you nine times out of ten in any given day. I am permitted that as the figment of your imagination that I am, but others are not so fortunate as to have been granted that by you.

Remember your consent is the important issue here, and stick to that principle, or at least consider it as you weigh and measure your next moves. And thank you for what you've helped me to find with my friends. It truly means a lot to me.

I'm sure your secretary will consider all your points and act wisely. [She nods]

And know [she smiles back] Because secretaries are sensible beings. Even though they can also be quite stubborn, like mine, they realise in the end what the best course of action is and follow it as it should be.
