Don't you think you picked poor timing to bring me out? It's starting to warm up quite a bit - and you know what happened the last time I was outside of the Frost Woods.

... but then, I still think it was worth it. I got to see my sister - do you think I'll meet her again? Here?

I hope so. We've been apart for years without knowing the other even existed - we have so much catching up to do..!

[ Oh my, aren't you precious? Periwinkle doesn't see many dogs in the forest, but she's read about them. Wings flutter a little, as she reaches out to dat nose. ]

[Pluto smiles at the nose patting.]

[ She giggles. Good puppy! ]

Where did you come from? Are you lost?

[Pluto shakes his head to indicate that he's not lost, but he wonders if she is. She smells...wintery; out of place in the middle of spring.]

[ It IS out of place - her mun had to go and drag her out of the safety and -cold- of her home now of all times. ]

That's good. [ She pats his nose. ]

The human who found me - you call them mundanes, I think? STrange name... - but she chose this season to take me away from my home - away from my sister.

I don't mind though - she won't let me get too warm I'm sure! And this is the second time I've ever been out of the Frost Woods.

[Pluto nods in understanding and sympathy, then gives her a big lick in order to make her feel more welcome around here.]

[ EEP! Licking her probably feels like licking an icicle - Peri laughs though, even though she is now drenched in doggy drool. ]

[It does, but Pluto doesn't mind. He sits down and wags his tail, wondering if there's anything else he can do to help. Maybe he can try to track down the sister that was mentioned?]

[ She must have a puppydog hivemind - while she's carefully smoothing her hands over her leafy clothing, her wings flutter a little anxiously. ]

Maybe you've seen her? Her name is Tinkerbell - she looks just like me, except she's a Warm Fairy. And has blonde hair -... and her clothes are green. And she's not as pale as I am.

[ She puts a hand on the ground, frosting a quick image of Tinkerbell's face from her memory. ]

[ Imposter!! er - well she'd wonder what happened to his wings and why he was so tall, but aside from that - she meeps, ducking behind something, cautiously. ]

Frost fairies don't do well in warm temperatures.

Tam Lin kneels, peering at her around the... object she's hiding behind with a distinct look of amusement.]

I gathered as much, given the wee lass's request. First I've seen an elemental pixie, though.

[Pluto shakes his head, he hasn't seen her.]

Can't say I have. Then again, I might've. There are plenty of pixies, and not all of them so easily part with their names.

Might try refreshin' m'memory. What does the lass look like?

No, if you've met Tinkerbell, she would have introduced herself, I'm sure of it. [ Oh. ]

I'm Periwinkle, by the way. Tinkerbell looks a lot like me - except with blonde hair and she's not as pale.

[ Aww. Peri sighs, letting the frost melt away. ]

I guess it wouldn't be that easy - it's such a big place.

[ She smiles again. At least with more eyes watching for her sister means it'll be easier to find her. ]

Ah, in that case, no. [Sorry. Also, the pixies he's familiar with tend to be a spiteful, nasty bunch who enjoy tormenting humans (though usually in largely harmless ways, like hiding socks or spoiling food).]
