On talks of finding King Ansem for museboxing with him and the other Apprentices.

Dear Mundane,

I'm not entirely sure what you hope to accomplish with this, or how you think this will actually help solve the problem of our missing king. I know you're excited that with him, you'll have a complete, as you say, "pre-fall-of-Radiant-Garden" cast for museboxing, whatever it is that means, but that doesn't mean making hasty movements such as writing open letters and hoping he'll respond. Please, have some semblance of sense.

Sincerely,
Xehanort

P.S. Why is this being sent as an open letter...?

I'm unsure what either of you mean to accomplish by this--if you've spoken on the matter before, then surely it would be better to simply continue the discussion, rather than write letters?

Certainly there are more productive methods to contact a missing person than this?

Yet letters do? This doesn't look to be a very solidly-constructed plan either, just on the face of things.....

You do have a more fully substantiated argument prepared for her when your Mundane does respond, I trust?

What had you been expecting?

P.P.S. - Xehanort appears to be taking it upon himself to recruit for the rest of us, but we should also like to add some input on our own behalf.

1) That our master needn't hang on every conversation, since we do enjoy our private time among our peerage of fellow apprentices. Including laboratory work, unsupervised.

2) Regards and apologies in advance, both for Braig's hideous behavior and the constant attention required for keeping Even's ego satisfied.

3) Sincerest thanks and appreciation for considering our plea, as wise sages willing to subject themselves to the inevitable betrayal of a half dozen wayward disciples are understandably difficult to come by.

Regards,
Ienzo

.....It seems your plan has backfired. [sigh]

Perhaps another is in order? One made with a little more assistance, this time?

They are very... excitable creatures, mundanes. I've watched this one make more foolish mistakes in two days than most humans have in a lifetime. I don't believe 'sense' is a word that has entered their personal vocabulary.

While I understand the sentiment, and I do appreciate you speaking up on our behalves..... were most of those really necessary?

[A sigh]

I suppose the situation might yet be salvageable, unfortunate though it already is.

Does the species truly vary so little that their behavior is that predictable? I've heard anecdotes, of course, but I've yet to see any systematic study made of Mundanes as a whole.....

Braig's behavior usually is rather atrocious.

Dude, as if.

[ He is so offended except not really. ]

You know you guys enjoy it.

.....Well, yes, I can't deny that..... But still, consider the third amendment. It seems a little much, don't you think?
spuriose: (my mistake was lovin' you)

[ ...what is this, story time? Sheesh. ]

You know, you could have just changed the format.

[ Duh. ]

While I might be among the first to espouse subterfuge as a reliable tactic, in this case I believe some degree of transparency is important, when seeking out willing candidates.

Muns usually appreciate up front negotiation.

I've yet to hear of anyone gathering anything near enough of them for such a study.

I'll admit, it would be harder to find entertainment without you.

Similarly, we would hope for the same masochistic affection in our generous Master.

It does. But I can't imagine either of us can remove it so easily, now.
