It hasn't even been a week yet and I'm already sick of this place. I'm going bonkers just trying to find things to do. It's great that the lights are back but shit am I booooored. How have all these people been here so long and not gone out of their flipping minds?

Wait, they probably have. What with the killings and shit. Why did you think it was a good idea to send me there? At least the City has things to do. Boring, routine things but things! The Charon is just too cramped!

[He's yawning only because he's been working pretty hard but hearing this complaint, Lee certainly knows that feeling.]

Believe me, the thought had crossed my mind. Then I remember that deep sea swimming lesson and I'm wide awake again. I could think of a few things to remedy the situation but I don't think the other occupants would care for it.

Deep sea...swimming lessons? [She raises a brow and doesn't seem to get where he's going with that. However, she grins as she gets the gist of the rest of it.]

[Okay, now he's laughing. Not only did he intentionally leave his first statement open ended for a reason, the second part definitely has his interest. Rapture? Oh yeah.]

I'm sure there will be. Let's not forget that whatever COMPASS does, they always have an eye on us. Why not give them a show?

Not really. If I ever find those cameras, I'll find a can of spray paint and become a vandal for a day. It would be the only time that I wouldn't mind reducing myself to do some property damage.

Ah, well, it's not too different, I suppose. There is this one woman that I knew from my past years that talked about legends and there is one that I had met recently back home that talks about ancient gods.

You see, my father has become a bit of collector of such knowledge and to be honest, the ordeal has driven him mad...or so we think it has. My brother and I don't like him. Not one bit.

[He's pretty much gotten the idea but smiles behind the thought of howling.]

Well...a lot of the Fae are what old legends are based on.

[A pause.] ...Trust me. She did.

[He wants to laugh but that's because his imagination is running wild.]

[That earns a punch in the shoulder and incredulous look.] We live together and the walls...and floor, are paper thin.

[He rubs his shoulder from the punch and laughs.]

[She wrinkles her nose.] That sounds terrible.

While they are beautiful and easy to repair, after a while the issue of privacy becomes more of a chore to use innuendo than direct speech.

I would rather live in a glass box than having my words overheard by another.

Well, at least you could put up curtains in a glass box.
