[Well that escalated quickly. Minako's breath stopped for a moment, everything quiet save for the soft pulse she could hear in Akihiko's chest.

She felt guilty for breaking the silence.]

[On some level, Aki sees that she doesn't understand completely, and on one level he's glad, while on another he can't help but remember how that shook everyone up, Minako especially.]

Sounds like something he'd say... [Darn it, that only causes the tears to well up again. Of course, through sheer force of will, he manages to keep them at bay, but it's obvious that it's a struggle and a half.]
