Considering what's happened, I don't find fault in that.

There are a group of us, including God, who are at a place that is shutting down. Balthazar and Anna are with me there, I've been taking care of them. In another place Lucifer, Gabriel, Anna, Castiel, and Balthazar are also there, along with a few others. And my mundane and another have a dressing room for all of us. So I have company.

No. Castiel accidentally released the Leviathan, and they came to the game we were at. After they killed Michael and several other, and attempts to kill them failed, He reveled himself to save the rest.
