Your priorities are way out of whack, you know that? You keep saying you've got, like, 40 pages of term paper to do, and since this is college, it's a really big dea--
You're not listening to me, are you.
All right, all right. How's this? Before you book my cruise on the S.S. Turtle, you do maybe... half of that. I'm being super reasonable here. I'm not even questioning your logic on the whole floating turtle thing for now. Even if I sort of just did it there. (But come on--seriously? A turtle? Can't we go somewhere normal for once? I'm kind of sick of battle royales, and zombies, and monsters. And snow.)
By the way, you really shouldn't get fictional characters to nag you into doing your homework. I'm not even going to touch that one: you can psychoanalyze yourself.

...Well, no. She's a girl, but they're not girl-girl troubles.

Also-- Battle royale? With the zombies or without?

Well... the battle royale and the zombies didn't happen at the same time. Not even the same game, either. Both went about as well as you'd expect them to.

People say that all writers are at least a little nuts. Maybe that's it.

Just wait till they get to the psychoanalysis. That's when the real fun begins.

Oh boy. That's gonna be a blast. She's done a number on the other guys up here, so I don't know what to expect...

Then again, I'm saying that like I expected anything otherwise. Joke's on me.

Get used to the lack of vacation. It'll never get better. [Sympathetic look.]

[SIGH.] I guess I've got my work cut out for me, then.

[Jaime. What trouble have you been getting into now? And what is this about zombies and monsters even?]
screams omg
[but not even the relief at finally getting to see Brenda again can make this explanation sound, or feel, any better.]
...it's a really, really long story.
She is still new, but. Brenda man.
[Yup, you are just getting that raised eyebrow and expectant look from her about now, Jaime.]
she is wonderful, i love her.
Me too. And all her. Intense anger.
she's determined! and intense yes, pffffft.
That she is, certainly.
