Do you have any Pokemon that can fly, at least? The one I'm getting as a starter can fly, but she's a little too small to be carrying me or anything else bigger than a berry.

Yeah, two of them! My starter wasn't a flyer at first but his last form is a REALLY big gigantic fire-breathing Pokemon who can fly, one a friend of mine gave me and I just got a third but he's still an egg. I'm thinking of getting one of those smaller flyers just to raise 'em and have them grow really big. It's a flying bird, right?

Ah--no, she's actually a flying squirrel kind of thing. I think it's called an Emolga? She can shoot out lightning too, so I'm going to be calling her Bolt.
