You shouldn't talk about feeling selfish simply because you get so many "one word usernames." It's not really something worth feeling selfish about, I'd say.
As for mine, it's better than what it could have been.
It's good to see you've grown so much, at least. I'm sure you'll leave me here to be covered with dust and cobwebs, then to decay, then to rot, or maybe simply pull out only to talk to students or my wife.
At least you don't have time for any more games. I'm too old and tired for them, thanks.

You mean yours has several for you?

That requires spending money, though. Are they willing to do that?
no subject
That's what I've been telling her, but she still wants it.
no subject
[Or the Harrys he's met...]
If she's got the extra money, I suppose it's not so terrible.

There is that, yes.

[ a pause, wincing slightly. ]
Unless you count the writers' usual brand of sadism.

There are those who are willing to another for a myriad of reasons. Mine just happens to have succeeded, but it probably won't stop them from intending on doing it again.
no subject
Well, I suppose I don't have to say 'be careful'. Still.. really, no games for you?
no subject
I haven't been in any games in a long, long time, and I'm quite the better off for it.
no subject
Even if your wife and son were there?
no subject
I would be interested, yes [extremely so] but that doesn't mean she has the time [lies]. Where is it?
no subject
It was just a question, I'm sorry. I know how miserable it can be, being separated from your loved ones.
no subject
Miserable? Yes, it's quite unpleasant. It just sounds like complaining going further into it, though.
no subject
[ it's been thousands of years and he still misses his own family, after all. ]
no subject
I am not the first, nor will I be the last.
...I'm sorry, do I know you? You seem to be more invested in my life than I would think a total stranger would rightly be.
no subject
No, I'm sorry, I don't mean to be so nosy. My writer's quite fond of your.. ah.. 'canon', so I probably know more than I should.
no subject
[Remus' own needed quite a bit of encouragement to play anyone, so he's not about to judge.]
no subject
[ a pause, then he offers a small, polite nod. ]
My name is Ganymede, by the way. It's lovely to meet you.
no subject
No, he's really not.
Remus Lupin, and the same to you, Ganymede. A family name, perhaps?
no subject
no subject
...Merlin's beard, you are?
no subject
Never thought I'd see the day.
no subject
Things change when you get into your late thirties, Wormtail. From aches and pains to state of mind...call it "maturing."
You do see the day, don't worry about that.
no subject
Adult!Sirius! My day, it is made!
I didn't know people got the chance to prepare for their funeral. Usually one is dead when that occurs, you know.
DRTHRS it isn't often I get to play him so this is exciting!
I love them all as adults, but it's hard to find many, so exciting for me, too!
How am I doing? Astounding, I suppose. Haven't seen you in a while, though. At least, not...like you are now. Lots of young yous running around, though. Kind of makes a man feel old the first few times.
;sdfj ugh yes! I do too! It is surprisingly hard to find them as adults!
Well, can't say I blame them, really. I expect it's hard to resist my younger self, what with all that charm. I've seen a fair few of yourself as well. Certainly brings back some memories.
I've always played him as an adult. Where have you been all this time? ;;
Yes, you and your charm, me and my...lack thereof. Don't really see what's so fascinating about me in school. Or, me in general, but these mundanes all have their own perspectives, just like anyone else.
...where are you from? Before you were brought out to play, that is.
Oh really?? Adult!Sirius is fairly new to me but I always wanted to try him out ;;!
They're a strange lot, these mundanes, but I'm not entirely surprised you're so popular. After all, what would have happened to the school if we didn't have you? I expect we would have blown the entire thing up eventually. Frankly, I'm disappointed you've forgotten the importance of your presence.
(And now what was left of the smile fades completely, replaced by a look of scorn.)
Still stuck in my bloody parents' house, unfortunately. Seems to be getting darker every day, and that's mostly due to the dust that keeps piling up around here. What about you?
I fully support more adult Marauders :D
Forgotten? Oh, no, I haven't. Perhaps it's more the absence of that presence at certain times that's muddied things up a bit. Things happen to your mind when you get to be old like us, Padfoot.
[Yes, because the thirties are ancient in wizarding times.]
Me? Er, from a few years after that, actually. [He looks on his hands, counting, only seeking something physical so he doesn't give anything away in look] Two years.
Yes, as do I! :D
Old like us? I always knew you were an old man at heart, Moony, but there is such a thing as taking that too literally. More like things happen to your mind when events like the current ones occur.
(He pauses, but quickly moves on.)
Two years? Bloody hell, that would explain the mentioned wife, then. Which reminds me, when exactly were you going to mention her to me? I think I have a right to know if one of my best mates is getting married, or has been!
no subject
But at Sirius' last bit, everything else is overlooked and Remus fidgets slightly, uncertain of how he'll take this.]
I married Tonks, Sirius. You know, your cousin.
