Mun-san, I do believe that after three years of harmonious association between yourself and my humble personage, I'm entitled to a gift.
Yes, yes, I understand that you ought to be on the receiving end too but seeing as we're inconveniently separated by different planes of existence it's far easier for you to treat me and there's not a lot I can do beyond breaking the fourth wall this way.
I understand it's customary for one to exchange leather goods on a third anniversary; if I might request it in the form of a pair of well fitting pants, I'm sure that would be deemed most acceptable.
